We started as a parent cooperative in 1998 with 10 students. Since then, we have grown to include three buildings with 14 classrooms, a computer lab, two science labs, two art rooms, an assembly hall, an 18,000-volume library, administrative offices, a playground, and a sports field. The school includes 146 students from 18 countries, organized in an Elementary School (Preschool – Grade 5) and Secondary School (Middle School: Grades 6-8, High School: Grades 9-12). Approximately 60% of the students speak a language other than English at home. These students are served by 33 teachers, and 17 support staff, representing 13 countries.
Parents cooperate closely with the staff to develop and deliver our programs in a way that celebrates cultural diversity and promotes unity in our core values and goals. Rigorous academic life is punctuated by weekly assemblies and frequent celebrations and student-initiated special events.
