Secondary Instructional Coach in Bangladesh
For 2019-20 School Year
Our elementary instructional coach position builds the teacher capacity and understanding of curriculum, assessment and instructional practice for Bangladeshi elementary teachers. The coach will promote high-quality instruction in classrooms through modeling, co-planning, co-teaching and providing feedback to teachers. All instruction is in English and based around an American style curriculum.
School Profile:
Located in the second largest city in the country, William Carey Academy is a Christian school that provides English-medium instruction using an American curriculum to approximately 325 students in grades K-12. The goal of the school is to provide a model of international-standard education which will prepare students for study at world-class universities. The school was founded in 1996 and in 2006 the first graduation was held. The student body is 90% Bangladeshi and 10% foreign students from Christian, Muslim, Hindu and Buddhist families.
