Sharon International School

Sharon International School was established in 2004 in Vientiane, the capital of Laos. It was started to provide and offer an excellent education in a safe and healthy environment. SIS desires to provide a high standard, international-level education at an affordable price for both the international and Lao community. With Cambridge International curriculum, SIS hopes that the learners become confident, responsible, reflective, innovative and engaged. This institution understands that the children are the future, and they will decide how the world will run even after we are no longer around. Therefore, it is our goal to raise children up to be fun-loving, educationally-minded, well-behaved, good people, and capable of shaping a better world for the future.

Sharon International is a coeducational school serving Kindergarten, Primary, and Lower Secondary students. Over the school’s history, students have come from all over the world, including 26 different nationalities.  They each come with their own unique set of backgrounds, experiences, and abilities.

We recruit highly qualified, experienced teachers and administrators from all over the world to create a vibrant, nurturing, student-centered learning experience.

At SIS, English is the medium of instruction.  Students who arrive with little knowledge of English are enabled to access the English curriculum as quickly as possible and go on to thrive in school through the ESL program.
